Were hiring a QA Engineer who can own quality for our web app (and support mobile testing as we scale). Youll design test plans, automate critical flows using Cypress , and work closely with developers to catch bugs earlybefore users do.

• Create and maintain automated test suites using Cypress (E2E + regression)
• Write clear test cases , acceptance criteria checks, and exploratory test plans
• Test core user journeys: auth, payments (if any), dashboards, forms, etc.
• Log bugs with crisp reproduction steps, screenshots/videos, and severity/priority
• Collaborate with engineering to improve release confidence and reduce regressions
• Set up or improve QA processes: smoke tests, release checklists, test reports
• (Optional) Support API testing and mobile app testing (manual + basic automation later)

• Hands-on experience with Cypress for real projects (not just tutorials)
• Strong understanding of QA fundamentals: test planning, test design, edge cases
• Comfortable testing React-based web apps and modern frontend workflows
• Experience with Git + working in a sprint/release environment
• Able to write clear bug reports and communicate effectively with devs

• API testing with Postman or REST Assured , or Cypress API tests
• Knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript (helps a lot with Cypress)
• CI/CD exposure: GitHub Actions/Jenkins + running tests in pipelines
• Experience with Playwright/Selenium (bonus)
• Mobile testing familiarity: Android/iOS device testing, BrowserStack, etc.
• Performance checks (basic), accessibility checks (a11y)

• Your Cypress approach: selectors, test structure, reliability (flaky test prevention)
• How you think about edge cases and user behavior
• How you prioritize bugs and communicate risk before release
