QA Automation - Typescript

Were looking for a self-starter QA Automation Engineer with strong experience in TypeScript and Playwright to join our fast-paced engineering team. Youll play a critical role in ensuring the quality, performance, and reliability of our marketing automation platform. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a startup environment, loves automation, and wants to build a robust test framework from the ground up.

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using TypeScript and Playwright.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA team members to define test coverage and quality goals.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous validation.
• Write clear, maintainable, and reusable automation scripts for end-to-end, regression, and integration testing.
• Investigate test failures, identify root causes, and track bugs through resolution.
• Maintain and expand test coverage to keep pace with product growth.
• Contribute to QA strategy, tooling improvements, and best practices for automation.
  

• 2+ years of experience in QA Automation or Software Testing roles.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, with hands-on experience using Playwright for browser automation.
• Experience with test runners (e.g., Jest, Mocha) and CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CircleCI).
• Solid understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, APIs).
• Familiarity with test design principles (smoke, regression, performance, data-driven testing).
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities; comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
  

• Experience testing REST or GraphQL APIs.
• Exposure to cloud-based testing environments or containerization (Docker).
• Understanding of manual testing fundamentals and exploratory testing practices.
