QA Automation Architect

Job Summary

Were looking for a highly experienced QA Architect who can build the entire automation practice from scratch and drive a world-class quality engineering culture across Karixs CPaaS platforms.

This role requires strong hands-on expertise in Java, designing scalable automation frameworks, enabling continuous quality, and transforming manual-heavy QA into automation-first delivery.

What Youll Do?

Build Automation Practice from the Ground Up

• Architect enterprise-wide automation strategy, framework, standards, and guidelines.
• Define automation roadmap for UI, API, microservices, performance, data validation, and regression suites.
• Set up automation infrastructure, pipelines, test data management, reporting systems, and reusable libraries.
• Establish a zero-touch, CI/CD-integrated quality ecosystem.
• AI Driven TDD Automation + Service Integration for real-time results
• Develop test strategies and design robust automation frameworks.

Architect Scalable Automation Frameworks

• Build modular, maintainable, scalable automation frameworks using Java.
• Design tools and frameworks using Selenium, Playwright, Appium, RestAssured, PyTest, TestNG/JUnit.
• Develop utilities for mocks, virtualization, data generators, and parallel execution.
• BDD with parallel execution for faster release cycle through AI enabled automation.
• Build test automation real-time monitoring system that runs the tests based on geography base validations

Lead with Technical Excellence

• Shift-left testing by integrating automation into SDLC.
• Work with DevOps to embed automation in CI/CD pipelines.
• Provide architecture guidance for microservices, APIs, queues, and distributed systems.
• Establish KPI-driven governancecoverage, stability, and release readiness.

Mentor, Coach & Influence

• Upskill QA engineers in automation standards, scripting, and tool adoption.
• Influence engineering teams to adopt automation-first culture.
• Represent QA in architecture forums and engineering councils.
• Be a Quality Evangelist
• Bring best industry practices around automation, observability, and performance.
• Evaluate tools and frameworks for continuous improvement.
• Champion enterprise-wide reliability improvements.

What You Bring

• 1015 years experience with strong hands-on automation architecture exposure.
• Deep expertise in Java.
• Proven experience building automation practice from scratch.
• Knowledge of Selenium, Playwright, Appium, RestAssured, JMeter/Locust.
• Strong understanding of microservices, event-driven systems, cloud, and CI/CD.
• Ability to drive quality metrics, dashboards, governance.
• Strong Plus - Experience in CPaaS, messaging, omnichannel platforms.
• Experience in leading QA teams or automation CoEs.
