QA Analyst - FHIR / HL7

We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Analyst with strong experience in testing healthcare data standards and databases. The role involves validating FHIR/HL7 JSON-based APIs and performing SQL testing on CDR to ensure accuracy, compliance, and performance of healthcare applications. The ideal candidate will work closely with developers, business analysts, and product owners to deliver high-quality, standards-compliant solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform functional, integration, and regression testing for FHIR/HL7 JSON in CDR GCP.
• Validate data mapping, transformation, and compliance with healthcare interoperability standards.
• Write and execute simple to complex SQL queries to test and validate data in GCP databases.
• Design, maintain, and execute test cases, test scripts, and test data for healthcare systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, document, and track defects to closure.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, healthcare data standards, and organizational quality processes.
• Participate in test planning, requirement reviews, and sprint ceremonies in an Agile environment.
• Contribute to automation of API and database testing where applicable.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 46 years of experience as a QA Analyst/Tester in healthcare or related domains.
• Strong knowledge of FHIR and HL7 standards with hands-on experience testing JSON payloads.
• Proficiency in SQL with practical experience in healthcare databases.
• Knowledge on API testing tools such as Postman, SoapUI
• Familiarity with test management tools (Rally).
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to troubleshoot complex data issues.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Familiarity with GCP or other cloud platforms in healthcare ecosystems.
• Exposure to ETL/data validation/pipeline testing.

Work Mode: 4 days in a week from Office

Location: Hyderabad

Shift: 2 PM to 11 PM IST
