JOB DESCRIPTION:
Must have:
- Advanced knowledge of Python, with expertise in writing efficient, scalable, and well-documented code.
- Experience working with AWS cloud-related data services (e.g., S3, Glue, Lambda, EMR, Athena, Pyspark) and Snowflake.
Good to have:
- Design and implement data designs that meet business requirements, ensuring data quality, security, and compliance
Responsibilities:
- 6+ years experience as Python Designer
- Advanced knowledge of Python, with expertise in writing efficient, scalable, and well-documented code.
- Experience working with AWS cloud-related data services (e.g., S3, Glue, Lambda, EMR, Athena, Pyspark) and Snowflake.
- Design and implement data designs that meet business requirements, ensuring data quality, security, and compliance
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to the data team, driving technical decisions and ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data analysts, project managers, and solution architects.
- Mentor and coach junior engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning
- Conduct thorough code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices, and high coding standards.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, researching and implementing new technologies and techniques to drive innovation.
