Python Software Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Software Engineer (Python) with 5 years of experience to join our engineering team. Youll work closely with machine learning engineers, product managers, and fellow developers to build scalable, event-driven backend systems and services. Key Responsibilities

1. Develop, deploy, and maintain microservices using Python.
2. Design scalable and high-performance backend systems.
3. Work with both SQL and NoSQL databases to support data needs.
4. Implement event-driven architectures using Kafka or RabbitMQ.
5. Use Elasticsearch for search and analytics features.
6. Support the deployment of machine learning inference pipelines.
7. Work with AWS and Kubernetes for infrastructure and deployment.
8. Collaborate with ML engineers to integrate models into production systems.
9. Partner with product managers to understand and implement requirements.
10. Contribute to code quality, reviews, and system architecture discussions.

Required Experience

1. 34 years of professional experience in software development using Python.
2. Experience designing and building microservices.
3. Must have Hands-on experience with:
4. SQL & NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Cassandra)
5. Messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
6. Elasticsearch
7. AWS services
8. Kubernetes
9. Understanding of event-driven systems and scalable architecture.
10. Good communication and teamwork skills.

Required Qualifications

1. Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Nice to Have

1. Experience with Python web frameworks (e.g., Flask, Django, FastAPI)
2. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
3. Exposure to ML model deployment or inferencing
4. Contributions to open-source projects
