Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Python Full Stack Developer to design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable applications across backend and frontend layers. The role involves close collaboration with cybersecurity, development, and operations teams to ensure robust, compliant, and high-performing systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Python and frontend components using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS .
• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to embed security best practices throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and ensure compliance with controls such as DEPL .
• Promote and drive secure coding standards , knowledge sharing, and engineering best practices across teams.
• Work closely with development teams to identify and remediate vulnerabilities.
• Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability through proactive monitoring and tuning.
• Manage and enhance containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes , including container security.
• Demonstrate hands-on experience in Cybersecurity, Development, and/or Operations environments.
• Apply strong understanding of software architecture, system design, development, and delivery .
• Leverage prior experience in roles such as Systems Engineer or DBA , where applicable.
• Design and implement APIs following industry standards and best practices, including Swagger and OpenAPI 3.0 .
• Build and consume RESTful APIs , working with JSON and microservices-based architectures .
• Implement and manage authentication and authorization mechanisms for services.

Required Skills (Must Have)

• Strong proficiency in Python (11+)
• Experience with PostgreSQL
• Hands-on experience with data migration tools such as Liquibase, Flyway, Alembic, or Django Migrations
• Solid understanding of API design and development
• Experience using and supporting CI/CD pipelines
• Proficiency with Git and GitHub
• Working knowledge of Docker and containerization
• Basic exposure to HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

• Experience with Databricks (minimum data querying; strong SQL knowledge acceptable initially)
• Linux system experience
• Basic understanding of networking and firewalls
• Experience with HashiCorp Vault
• Familiarity with Entra ID, Active Directory, and LDAP
