Python Develpper

Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Python Developer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable applications, with a strong focus on API integrations and data management. This role requires a professional with a solid understanding of Python web frameworks, database interactions, and various file transfer protocols. Experience in the healthcare domain is a significant advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop, test, and deploy Python-based applications and services.

- Design and implement REST API integrations with internal and external systems.

- Work with Python web frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask, FastAPI) to build efficient and maintainable solutions.

- Interact with Oracle and/or SQL databases for data manipulation, querying, and optimization.

- Develop and maintain Shell/Bash scripts for automation and system administration tasks on Linux/Unix environments.

- Implement secure and efficient file transfer solutions using protocols such as SSH/SFTP, FTPS, and HTPS.

- Integrate with cloud storage services including AWS S3 and Google Cloud Storage.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

- Participate in code reviews, ensuring code quality, performance, and adherence to best practices.

- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.

- Document development processes, architecture, and design choices.

Required Skills and Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

- 3-5 years of overall IT experience, with a strong focus on Python development.

- Proven experience with REST API integration and developing applications using Python web frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask).

- Solid understanding and experience working with Oracle and/or SQL databases.

- Proficiency in Shell/Bash scripting and experience working with Linux/Unix operating systems.

- Sound knowledge of file transfer methodologies, including SSH/SFTP, FTPS, and HTPS.

- Experience with AWS and Google Cloud Storage connections.

Preferred Skills and Experience (Good to Have):

- Knowledge of Managed File Transfer (MFT) products, such as Axway Secure Transport, CFT, Flow Manager, and Progress MoveIT applications.

- Familiarity with reporting and alerting applications like Axway Sentinel and SPLUNK.

- Experience in the healthcare domain.
