We are looking for an experienced Python Django Lead to drive the design, development, and delivery of scalable backend systems on Azure. This role is ideal for a hands-on technical leader with deep Python expertise and strong experience building enterprise-grade applications.

Mandatory Skills

• Python: 8+ years of strong, relevant hands-on experience
• Django / Django REST Framework: Extensive experience in building scalable backend applications
• Azure Cloud: Hands-on experience with Azure services and deployments
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, backend architecture, and design patterns
• Experience with SQL / NoSQL databases
• Knowledge of authentication, authorization, and security best practices

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end development of Python Django-based applications
• Design and architect scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems
• Develop and review RESTful APIs using Django & DRF
• Drive best practices for code quality, performance, and security
• Mentor and guide junior developers and conduct code reviews
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, and stakeholders
• Work closely with DevOps teams for Azure deployments and CI/CD
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues

Good to Have

• Experience with microservices architecture
• Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
