Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Development Lead to oversee and contribute to the development of a cutting-edge telco orchestration platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, infrastructure management, and modern cloud-native technologies, along with an understanding of telecommunications networks and AI/ML concepts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of software components with a strong emphasis on scalability, security, and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions for telco orchestration and automation.
• Ensure high-quality code through comprehensive code reviews and adherence to coding standards.
• Drive the integration of microservices and APIs into the Customer Systems, ensuring seamless interoperability.
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines to streamline the software delivery lifecycle.
• Mentor and guide team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and collaboration.
• Ensure high-quality code through comprehensive code reviews and adherence to coding standards and security best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

1. Strong proficiency in Python and experience with web frameworks like Flask, CherryPy, or FastAPI.
2. Experience with unit testing frameworks such as unittest, pytest, or nose.
3. Expertise in building and consuming RESTful APIs.
4. Experience with message queues (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ) and service discovery.
5. Integration experience with both relational and NoSQL databases, including MongoDB.
6. Basic understanding of AI/ML concepts like supervised/unsupervised learning, neural networks, and NLP.
7. Experience incorporating AI/ML models into application workflows is a plus.
8. Experience with cloud platforms (OpenStack, AWS, Azure, GCP) and tools for orchestration and automation (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Ansible).
9. Understanding of 5G core networks, NFV, and network orchestration concepts.
10. Proficient in version control systems such as Git.
11. Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and agile development methodologies
12. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
13. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
14. Knowledge of secure coding practices, including input validation, encryption, and authentication mechanisms.
15. Experience implementing role-based access control (RBAC) and identity and access management (IAM) solutions.
16. Understanding of security tools and frameworks, such as SonarQube, SAST/DAST tools, or HashiCorp Vault for secrets management.
17. Experience with network and application security, including firewalls, API gateways, and securing microservices.

Good to Have

1. Familiarity with managing infrastructure as code using tools like Gitea, FluxCD, and Crossplane.
2. Familiarity with BPMN tools like Camunda to model and automate workflows.
3. Familiarity with OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities and mitigation strategies.
4. Knowledge of observability and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack.
