Role Description

We are seeking Python developers to support a legacy application modernization. The role focuses on refactoring existing monolithic codebases into scalable microservices and containerizing them.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, break down, and refactor legacy code into modular microservices
• Develop backend services using Python (FastAPI, Flask, or similar)
• Implement APIs and service communication patterns
• Developing different protocol-based app (REST, GraphQL, gRPC, etc.)
• Usingagentic development workflows
• Developing integration patterns
• Write automated tests and maintain code quality
• Work closely with platform engineers to containerize services

Qualifications

• 5-8years Python development experience
• Experience building REST API, GraphQL, gRPC, etc.
• Experience with microservices architecture
• Experience with Docker/containerization
• Understanding of SQL and relational databases
• Git-based development workflows and dev tools for productive efficiency, devex

Nice to Have

• Experience with event-driven architectures
• Knowledge of message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ, NATS)
• Exposure to AI-assisted development tools
• Familiarity with cloud and cloud-native platforms
• Familiarity with service-mesh and K8s ecosystems
