Python Developer

We are currently in search of a proficient Python developer to join our Buktec product development team. In this role, you will play a vital part in the development of our web-based SaaS platform, which also has a universal iOS/Android mobile application. Our technological stack comprises React JS for the web application, React Native for the mobile application, Python utilizing the Flask framework, MySQL, as well as Gemini and LiLT models for artificial intelligence. Additionally, we employ GitLab for repository management and CI/CD pipeline orchestration.

Your primary responsibilities will encompass software development, unit testing, and the resolution of defects. Furthermore, you will participate in application deployment utilizing Docker, engage in version control and CI/CD workflows through Git, and manage deployments on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

PYTHON DEV RESPONSIBILITIES

1.Participate in requirement analysis and contribute to technical design discussions for the SaaS platform and supporting mobile app backend.

2.Develop backend components, including web-based APIs, database logic (ORM/MySQL), and integrations with AI/ML modules.

3.Implement and maintain unit tests, and manage bug fixes, enhancements, and change requests (CRs).

4.Work closely with the QA team and SMEs to diagnose and resolve defects and performance issues.

5.Support deployment activities using Docker, manage code versions through Git, and participate in CI/CD pipelines.

6.Assist in deploying and managing application services on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

PYTHON DEV REQUIREMENTS

1.3 - 5 years of firsthand experience in Python development, preferably using the Flask framework.

2.Strong proficiency in RESTful API development and backend service architecture.

3.Experience integrating third-party APIs and external services.

4.Practical experience with ORM frameworks such as SQLAlchemy.

5.Ability to write and optimize raw MySQL queries when needed.

6.Solid analytical and critical thinking skills, with effective communication and teamwork capabilities.

7.Strong working knowledge of Python 3 and related ecosystem tools.

8.Exposure to accounting or finance domain SaaS products is an added advantage.

9.Working knowledge of version control systems (Git) and CI/CD workflows.
