Python Developer (AWS)

We are seeking a skilled Python Developer with strong experience in AWS Serverless technologies to design, develop, and maintain scalable data processing pipelines. The ideal candidate will be passionate about building efficient, reliable, and cost-optimized solutions for large-scale data processing.

Role Level: Mid-Level

Key Responsibilities:

-- Design, develop, test, and deploy data processing pipelines using AWS Serverless services such as Lambda, Step Functions, DynamoDB, and S3

-- Build and maintain ETL pipelines for structured and unstructured data

-- Collaborate with business analysts and cross-functional teams to deliver effective solutions

-- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented Python code following best practices

-- Monitor and optimize performance and cost of serverless applications

-- Ensure high availability and reliability through robust design and error handling

-- Troubleshoot and debug serverless applications and data workflows

-- Stay current with AWS and serverless ecosystem advancements

Required Skills & Experience:

-- 35 years of hands-on experience in Python development

-- Strong experience with AWS services: Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, Step Functions, SNS, SQS, API Gateway

-- Experience building data pipelines / workflows for large datasets

-- Knowledge of serverless and event-driven architectures

-- Experience with Python libraries such as boto3, Pandas, or similar

-- Proficiency with Git and collaboration tools

-- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

-- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills

-- Experience with SQL (RDS) and NoSQL (DynamoDB) databases

Good to Have:

-- AWS certifications (Developer Associate / Solutions Architect Associate)

-- Experience with pytest or similar testing frameworks

-- Exposure to Infrastructure as Code tools (AWS CDK, CloudFormation)

-- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools
