Python Backend Developer

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Python Backend Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Python frameworks, databases, and cloud-based applications, and will collaborate closely with frontend, DevOps, and product teams to deliver reliable and high-performance solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Python
• Build and optimize RESTful APIs and backend services
• Work with databases to design schemas, write efficient queries, and ensure data integrity
• Implement business logic, integrations, and third-party APIs
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and security
• Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and DevOps teams
• Write clean, reusable, well-documented, and testable code
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely fixes
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices

Qualifications

• 36 years of hands-on experience in Python backend development
• Strong experience with Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs
• Proficiency in SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and exposure to NoSQL databases
• Experience with ORMs (Django ORM, SQLAlchemy)
• Familiarity with Git and version control systems
• Understanding of authentication, authorization, and security best practices
• Experience with unit testing and debugging
