Python backend developer

Job Title: Backend Engineer AI Platform (Python / FastAPI)

Experience: 3+ years

We are looking for a Backend Engineer who is passionate about building scalable, high-performance systems. You will work at the core of our AI platform developing APIs, integrating AI models, managing asynchronous tasks, and ensuring seamless data flow across services.

• 3+ years of backend engineering experience, preferably in SaaS or data/AI-heavy environments.
• Strong proficiency in Python with hands-on experience in FastAPI (or Flask).
• Deep understanding of async programming, API design and data validation.
• Solid experience with PostgreSQL schema design, query optimization and migrations.
• Experience with Celery for distributed task processing, scheduling and retries.
• Familiarity with message brokers (Redis or RabbitMQ).
• Understanding of authentication frameworks (OAuth2, JWT, API keys).
• Exposure to containerization (Docker) and basic CI/CD automation.
• Bonus: Experience integrating LLMs.
• Bonus: Familiarity with cloud environments (GCP, Azure, or AWS) and API security best practices.
