Role Overview

We are looking for a strong Python Backend & AI Engineer with 34 years of experience in building scalable backend systems and implementing AI/ML components.

The ideal candidate should have expert-level Python skills (FastAPI / Django), experience building REST APIs, SQL knowledge, authentication mechanisms, and familiarity with AI/ML workflows using Pandas, NumPy , and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP).

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain scalable REST APIs using FastAPI and Django.

Develop secure authentication & authorization (OAuth2 / JWT / Session-based).

Work with SQL databases (PostgreSQL / MySQL ) and write optimized queries.

Build modular backend architectures with clean and maintainable code.

Implement CI/CD, unit testing, and API documentation (Swagger / OpenAPI).

Integrate external APIs, microservices, and internal data services.

Deploy and manage applications on AWS or GCP (Lambda, EC2, Cloud Run, API Gateway, etc.).

Work with Docker-based deployments and containerization.

Use Pandas, NumPy , and Python scientific stack for data preprocessing.

Build simple ML pipelines and integrate AI models into backend services.

Work with REST-based AI model inference (OpenAI, Hugging Face, custom models).

Implement basic RAG or LLM integration (nice to have).

Optimize API performance, manage data flows, and build automation scripts.

Required Skills

Strong Python development experience (34 years).

FastAPI and Django (must-have).

SQL (PostgreSQL / MySQL ) and database schema design.

API authentication (JWT, OAuth2 ).

Experience with AWS / GCP cloud services.

Docker , Git, CI/CD pipelines.

Pandas, NumPy (must-have).

Experience with Python ML ecosystem.

Ability to integrate AI APIs or internal models .

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Redis, Celery, async programming .

Familiarity with Hugging Face / OpenAI APIs .

Exposure to data engineering / ETL pipelines .

Knowledge of RAG , vector DBs, or LLM workflows (optional).
