Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Python Automation Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Automation Testing. The ideal candidate must have expertise in Python-based automation, Robot Framework, and API testing, along with a solid understanding of automation framework design and CI/CD integration.

This role requires close collaboration with development and product teams to ensure high-quality software delivery through scalable and maintainable automated test solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python.
• Build and enhance automation frameworks using Robot Framework and/or Selenium.
• Execute automated test suites and analyze test results.
• Perform API testing, UI automation, and basic database validations.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business analysts to understand requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Identify, log, and track defects using defect management tools.
• Integrate automation test suites into CI/CD pipelines.
• Participate in test planning, test strategy discussions, and test case reviews.
• Continuously improve automation coverage and execution efficiency.

Technical Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Python programming.
• Hands-on experience with Robot Framework (mandatory).
• Experience in Selenium (preferred but good to have).
• API testing experience using tools like Postman, REST Assured, or similar.
• Experience working with:
• Git or other version control systems
• CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, etc.)
• Basic knowledge of SQL for database validation.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Exposure to performance or security testing is a plus.
• Knowledge of cloud-based testing environments (AWS/Azure) is an advantage.
• Experience in containerized environments (Docker) is a plus.

Education

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
