Job Description
Job Title: Purview Data Governance Developer
Location: Bangalore/Chennai/Hyderabad.
Budget: Open to discuss
Notice Period: Immediate joiner/ Serving notice with less than 45 days/Notice is less than 30 days
Level of experience: 4-8 years
- 3+ years experience in Microsoft Purview deployment and architecture in enterprise environments.
- Strong understanding of Azure and non-azure networking requirements in context of data source onboarding in Purview
- Implement enterprise data governance policies using Purview capabilities (Data Map, Catalog, Data Estate Insights, Data Policy).
- Automate metadata ingestion from Azure, on-prem, and multi-cloud platforms.
- Build automation using Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Event Grid, or Power Automate for Purview-related workflows.
- Extensive experience designing and utilizing APIs
- Develop scripts for metadata ingestion, lineage onboarding, and scanning configuration (PowerShell, Python, REST/Atlas APIs) and more.
- Monitor Purview health, scanning jobs, and classification accuracy.
- Produce governance KPIs, data quality reports, lineage visualizations, and audit documentation.
- Troubleshoot issues related to metadata extraction, classification, access policies
