Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Purchasing Manager at OOO Sidermag. The Purchasing Manager will be responsible for sourcing, selecting, and negotiating with suppliers to procure raw materials and equipment at the best quality and price, negotiations with freight forwarders, custom clearance agents, custom authorities of India for import and export operations. The role involves managing supplier relationships, monitoring inventory levels, and ensuring timely delivery of goods. Collaborating with production and other operational teams, the Purchasing Manager will work to maintain efficient supply chain processes and drive cost savings initiatives while ensuring compliance with company standards and industry regulations.


Qualifications

  • Strong procurement and negotiation skills, with experience in sourcing and supplier relationship management.
  • Familiarity with supply chain management, including inventory tracking, logistics coordination, and cost optimization.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using procurement and inventory management software, as well as standard office tools.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing industry is a strong advantage.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise with vendors and internal teams.
  • Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setup while ensuring collaboration across teams.
  • A proven record of achieving cost-saving targets and process improvements is a plus.
