• Ensuring ideal inventory levels to achieve maximum production within minimum lead time
• Excellent in budget & cost planning for procurement & sourcing of materials
• Arranging material in such way that it should have minimum duty, transit cost
• Developed high standards domestic & global vendors/ suppliers
• Assessment of the performance of vendors on criteria like percentage of rejections, quality improvement rate, timely delivery and cost etc
• Knowledge in working with ERP modules, 5S Systems & Kaizen
• Effective leadership with excellent communication, negotiation and relationship building skills
• Cost savings objectives and maintaining reports for the same
• Negotiating on contracts & agreements
• Expertise in procurement operations (Globally)

Qualification

Diploma/BE (Electronics or Instrumentation) MBA will be an added advantage
