Qualification: B.Tech/BE & MBA

Key Responsibilities:

Purchase, Procurement & Sourcing

Plan and execute procurement of raw materials and packaging materials.

Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable vendors in line with quality, cost, and delivery requirements.

Negotiate prices, contracts, payment terms, and delivery schedules to achieve cost savings and efficiency.

Vendor Management

Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and service providers.

Plant Coordination

Travel regularly to manufacturing plants to understand material requirements, inventory levels, and operational challenges.

Coordinate closely with production, maintenance, stores, and quality teams to ensure smooth material availability.

Support plant shutdowns, maintenance schedules, and urgent procurement needs.

Inventory & Cost Control:

Monitor inventory levels to avoid shortages or excess stock.

Implement cost reduction initiatives and alternate sourcing strategies.

Ensure adherence to approved budgets and MIS reporting.
