Role & responsibilities

Collecting quotations from different vendors.
Co-ordination with vendors. Raising Purchase Orders.
Taking requisitions from other departments (MRNs) & forwarding to Stores.
Physical verification of stock on monthly basis.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand and plan procurement activities
Keep updated records of purchased products, delivery information, and invoices
Stay informed about market trends, new products, and changes in regulations related to procurement
Ensure timely delivery of materials to meet production schedules
Source and select suppliers for goods and services based on price, quality, and delivery speed
Monitor and maintain inventory levels to optimize costs and minimize stockouts
