Purchase Engineer

Role Review

We are looking for a proactive and technically sound Purchase Engineer with 25 years of experience in the manufacturing or machinery industry. The candidate will be responsible for managing procurement activities, vendor development, and ensuring timely availability of materials for production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle end-to-end procurement of mechanical and electrical components.
• Source, evaluate, and develop vendors for cost-effective purchasing.
• Compare quotations and negotiate pricing and delivery terms.
• Create and process Purchase Orders (POs) through ERP system.
• Coordinate with production, design, and stores departments for material planning.
• Monitor delivery schedules and ensure timely material availability.
• Maintain vendor database, purchase records, and documentation.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and alternative suppliers.

Required Qualification:

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, or related field.
• 25 years of experience in manufacturing / engineering / machinery industry.
