Role Overview

We are looking for a Purchase Coordinator to manage procurement activities for HVAC project materials. The role involves supplier sourcing, negotiation, order placement, and logistics coordination to ensure timely availability of materials required for project execution.

The position requires close coordination with project engineers, site teams, suppliers, and management to ensure smooth procurement and delivery of materials.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and source suppliers for HVAC materials and project requirements
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery timelines with vendors
• Understand and verify material requirements from project teams
• Confirm specifications and quantities with relevant stakeholders
• Obtain internal approvals before initiating procurement
• Prepare and place purchase orders with vendors
• Track orders and follow up to ensure timely dispatch of materials
• Coordinate logistics and shipment movement to project sites
• Ensure proper dispatch documentation including challans and invoices
• Confirm correct materials are dispatched and received at the site
• Maintain coordination between vendors, logistics teams, and internal project teams

Requirements

• 05 years of experience in procurement / purchase coordination
• Strong vendor negotiation and supplier management skills
• Good coordination and follow-up abilities
• Basic understanding of logistics and dispatch processes
• Proficiency in MS Excel and procurement documentation

Preferred Experience

Experience in procurement of HVAC materials such as ducts, pipes, insulation materials, and related components will be an advantage.

Candidates with procurement experience in HVAC, MEP, or construction projects will be preferred.

Compensation: As per industry standards, based on experience.
