Pizzawalas is a growing American-style pizzeria brand focused on quality, consistency, and operational excellence. As we scale our outlets and central operations, we are looking for a Purchase / Procurement Manager who can ensure cost efficiency, quality sourcing, and uninterrupted supply for our restaurants and central kitchen.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement & Vendor Management

  • Source raw materials, packaging, equipment, and consumables required for daily restaurant operations.
  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers and vendors.
  • Negotiate pricing, payment terms, contracts, and service-level agreements to ensure cost efficiency.
  • Compare supplier quotations and finalize best-value purchases without compromising quality.
  • Maintain strong, long-term relationships with vendors and suppliers.

Inventory & Supply Planning

  • Monitor stock levels across outlets and central stores to avoid shortages or overstocking.
  • Plan purchases based on consumption patterns, forecasts, and business requirements.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks and coordinate replenishment.
  • Coordinate with warehouse and outlet teams for proper storage and stock handling.
  • Inspect incoming materials and report quality issues or discrepancies immediately.

Order Management & Documentation

  • Create and track purchase orders to ensure timely delivery.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, invoices, payments, and GRNs.
  • Update and maintain supplier master data, pricing records, and contracts.
  • Prepare procurement reports, cost analyses, and vendor performance reviews.

Cost Control & Compliance

  • Ensure procurement activities align with company budgets and cost targets.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities without impacting food quality or operations.
  • Follow and enforce company procurement policies and SOPs.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards, legal requirements, and internal controls.

Coordination & Team Management

  • Coordinate closely with Operations, Accounts, Warehouse, and Store Managers.
  • Support outlet openings, expansions, and new product launches.
  • Supervise and guide junior purchase or store staff involved in procurement activities.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Solid understanding of food & beverage procurement and inventory control.
  • Good analytical and planning abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and purchase tracking systems.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills.
  • Detail-oriented with good documentation practices.

Preferred Experience

  • 36 years of experience in procurement / purchase within QSR, restaurant, FMCG, or food industry.
  • Experience handling multi-outlet procurement is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and vendor quality checks is an advantage.
