Public Relations Associate/Sr Associate

Role Overview:

The Public Relations Associate/Sr. Associate will be responsible for developing and executing PR strategies that enhance the organizations reputation and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders. This role involves managing media communications, creating impactful content, and ensuring alignment between global and local PR initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Relationship Management:
• Establish and maintain cooperative relationships with consumers, community groups, employees, and public interest organizations.
• Media & Communication:
• Write press releases and prepare media kits to promote the organization and its initiatives.
• Respond promptly to media inquiries and requests for information.
• Draft speeches and schedule interviews for leadership and client representatives.
• Strategic Planning:
• Plan and direct programs that maintain favorable public and stakeholder perceptions of the organizations agenda and accomplishments.
• Analyze organizational objectives and promotional policies to develop PR strategies that influence public opinion and promote products, ideas, and services.
• Content Development:
• Prepare and edit organizational materials, including newsletters and publications for internal and external audiences.
• Update and maintain the organizations digital content across platforms.
• Collaboration & Coaching:
• Coach client representatives on effective communication with the public and employees.
• Collaborate with managers to identify trends and ensure advertising aligns with PR efforts.
• Global & Local PR Management:
• Manage both global and local PR initiatives to ensure consistency and impact.
• Define and monitor agency KRAs to achieve desired outcomes.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelors degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field.
• 25 years of experience in PR or corporate communications.
• Strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
• Familiarity with digital content management and social media platforms.
