About the Role: We are inviting applications for the position of Psychologist at Parul University. This role is for someone enthusiastic, empathetic, responsible, and passionate about supporting the mental and emotional well-being of students and the university community. The psychologist will be involved in counselling services, psychoeducation, research support, and mental health awareness initiatives, contributing to a healthy and supportive campus environment.

Responsibilities:

Psychoeducation

• Conduct psychoeducation sessions to help students understand mental health, stress, emotions, and coping skills.
• Educate students on self-care, resilience, and emotional well-being.
• Develop simple and student-friendly psychoeducational materials.

Counselling

• Provide individual and group counselling to students in a safe, confidential, and supportive setting.
• Understand students emotional, academic, and personal concerns and offer appropriate psychological support.
• Maintain ethical standards, confidentiality, and proper documentation.
• Refer students to external professionals or services when required.

Research

• Support research activities, case documentation, and academic projects related to psychology and mental health.
• Assist in data collection, reports, and research-based initiatives within the university.
• Stay updated with current research and best practices in psychology.

Awareness & Outreach

• Plan and participate in mental health awareness programs, workshops, and campaigns on campus.
• Work collaboratively with faculty and departments to promote mental well-being.
• Help create a stigma-free and supportive university environment.

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Psychology (Clinical / Counselling / Applied).
• Basic computer knowledge for documentation, reports, and online platforms.
• Good communication skills and a student-centered approach.

Required Skills:

• Preference will be given to RCI-registered candidates and those willing to stay on campus. Food and accommodation facilities will be provided.
