Role: Transformation Lead - Vehicle Service and Spares

About the Team and the Role

The Transformation team at Ather is responsible for building strong digital infrastructure to ensure the work across the organization is run in the most efficient manner. This involves building robust systems and tools that align with business processes in the Vehicle Service and Spares vertical, including AMC Products and Roadside Assistance (RSA).

This role is for a champion who will act as a business partner and evangelist for digital transformation. You will identify inefficiencies and automation opportunities, working across the organization to implement digital solutions that optimize the service and spare parts value chain.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Digital and Business Owners in Vehicle Service and Spares to gather requirements and solve problems through digital solutions and process improvements.

• Develop business cases to justify digitization and prioritize stakeholder requirements based on cost-benefit and timeliness.

• Champion stakeholder needs with the Information Systems group, ensuring requirements are accurately understood and implemented.

• Identify technological opportunities to increase organizational efficiency and serve as an evangelist for tool adoption.

• Develop a deep understanding of stakeholder tools and participate in both Digital and business swimlanes.

• Act as a process champion by helping stakeholders develop lean processes to meet their business objectives.

• Translate complex problem statements into technical solutions by collaborating closely with the technology team.

• Lead early User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and drive adoption through training, awareness, and post-implementation support.

Experience and Qualifications

• Bachelors/Masters Degree in a quantitative discipline, e.g. Engineering.

• 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in digital transformation, process improvement, or systems implementation.

• Masters in Business Administration or equivalent from a premier B-school (Desirable).

Must Have Competencies

• End-to-end business value chain mapping for Vehicle Service and Spares operations.

• Business process designing using methodologies such as Value Stream Mapping (VSM) and VSDiA.

• Quantitative analytical modeling for ROI assessment and business value delivery of digital initiatives.

• Utilization of Dealer Management Systems (Salesforce) and ERP (SAP) to align technology with service business processes.

Good to Have Competencies

• Application of Lean Six Sigma and DMADV frameworks for process velocity improvements and automation.

• Technical requirement drafting to convert business problem statements into scalable IT tool architecture.

• Management of cross-functional stakeholder prioritization within a Digital and Business swimlane structure.

• Execution of change management strategies including training and post-implementation hand-holding to ensure tool adoption.
