About the Team and the Role

The Transformation team at Ather is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing SAP Finance FICO solutions that meet critical business needs.

This role is for a Transformation Manager who will act as a business partner to Finance functional heads, identifying process or digital interventions to solve business problems and championing technology adoption for organizational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement SAP Finance FICO solutions that align with business requirements and functional needs.

• Partner with Finance functional heads to identify and prioritize business problems solvable through digital interventions.

• Champion stakeholder requirements to the information systems group, ensuring business criticality is well-understood.

• Build a technology roadmap focused on scale, efficiency, automation, and quality improvement across the organization.

• Own the design and documentation of ERP solutions for the Finance and Controlling domain.

• Ensure stable and scalable integration of SAP ecosystems with other internal and external applications.

• Guide development teams to implement solutions according to product standards and resolve critical design or integration bugs.

• Drive industry best practices and leverage new SAP features to develop lean processes and enhance business objectives.

Experience and Qualifications

• Bachelors/Masters Degree in a quantitative discipline, e.g., Engineering.

• 8 - 10 years of work experience in SAP Finance consulting or a Transformation role.

• Masters in Business Administration from a premier B-school is desirable.

Must Have Competencies

• Expertise in Finance Digital Transformation consultation across R2R, P2P, O2C, and Controllership domains.

• Advanced proficiency in analyzing system specifications and implementing business solutions within the Finance and Controlling domain.

• Expert knowledge of the SAP FICO module and associated IT systems for enterprise-scale operations.

• Advanced capability in business process designing and end-to-end business value chain understanding.

Good to have Competencies

• Strong quantitative analytical skills used to assess the need for change from complex problem statements.

• Functional understanding of the Agile framework within software development lifecycles.

• Professional understanding of Lean Six Sigma principles and lean methodologies.

• Previous experience in a manufacturing organization, particularly within a transformation capacity.
