Job Description

This is a full time role with our global engineering client.


Purpose -

  • Green transformation is essential for next decade in our High Voltage Solution business with the scope manufacturing of High Voltage cables and installation on-shore and off-shore.
  • Go Green approach with the relevant sales and marketing activities is our main goal for next years in regard to our focus markets, mainly Europe.
  • We are working closely with our international customers, we develop, manufacture and install efficient, environmentally friendly and technologically advanced high-voltage cables, for land and offshore applications worldwide.
  • Our company very much plays a key role in the green transformation.
  • Our installation department continues to grow and we are now looking for a new colleague to join our team as Installation Proposal Manager.


Responsibility -

In this role you will be a part of our tender Installation team, with responsibility for the installation scope in our offers. You will actively lead/ Support the installation tendering process for all assigned Tenders and ensure the best execution methodology and commercial solution is offered to our customers, most often international.With your technical interest, and business-minded approach you will work with tendering of large, complex projects with high order values, in most instances offshore windfarm connections, interconnectors connecting countries or power from shore to offshore platforms


Success criteria -

  • Being active integral part of Installation Tendering Team with customer focused mentality and good communication skills
  • On-time and on-quality delivery of assigned scope
  • Successful and Ontime installation of Tenders


Primary tasks -

  • Responsibility for installation aspects in the tender from start of tendering, through negotiations, to contract award and handover to the project installation department
  • Developing the documentation package to the Client describing the scope of work in words, with time schedule and with a budget.
  • Presenting our installation solutions to customers and drive the negotiations with the ambition to achieve success in our tenders.
  • Develop and maintain relationship with key stakeholders, internally (typically: marine/onshore engineers, legal, contract managers, procurement, Project Managers) and externally (subcontractors, clients)
  • Identify, evaluate and negotiate with installation subcontractors
  • Preparation of Method Statement, RFP, Schedule , Cost working for Tenders


Interfaces -

  • internally (typically: Commercial, Marine/onshore engineers, legal, contract managers, procurement, Project Managers)
  • externally (subcontractors, clients)


Experience -

Overall 10+ years of Offshore Tendering process, of which at least,

5+ years in offshore Installation

5+ years of working experience in remote international teams

A previous commercial position within sales or procurement is meriting as well as a position within the offshore industry or civil works. High Voltage and Extra High voltage Cable Installation experience both Onshore and offshore will be added advantage


Education -

  • Bachelors in Mechanical / Industrial /Civil Engineering with offshore construction industry experience
