Proposal Engineer

Apave International is currently seeking to fill the position of Bids & Proposal Engineer for India region.

Role

Perform proposal and related project management functions as required by Commercial Operations and at the request of Business Development and/or Opportunity Owners.

Job Duties/Roles

1. Maintain proposal/project generation process.
2. Draft, edit and finalize proposals, with interaction of Business Development and Opportunity Owners, such as Market Sector Leads and/or Account Managers.
3. Ensure that bid information is received in a timely manner to allow for development, review and approval of the formal proposal.
4. Develop and improve style and format of proposals to ensure winning bids.
5. Ensure that the proposal is prepared within appropriate deadlines, as required.
6. Maintain the integrity of the document filing system.
7. Provide on-going communications with departmental individuals regarding proposal/project status.
8. Coordinate proposal status with Business Development and Opportunity.
9. Provide data analysis queries utilizing Apave's internal software platforms and provide output report(s) as necessary.

10. Needs to be familiar with the Apave Health, Safety, Quality & Environmental Management System.

Required/Preferred Education Requirements

B.S. degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or other related disciplines;
