Job Description

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

The Proposal Engineer is responsible for developing competitive offers which fulfill customer requirements. These offers shall define technical & commercial terms in line with Air Liquide practices. Proposal Manager has the overall management responsibility for the execution of the proposal taking into
account procedures and instructions obligatory in AL Global E&C Solutions organization. For the duration of this, designated Proposal Manager acts as an entrepreneur in the name of the Board of Management and leads the proposal team and the related activities. He is the Management’s Representative for the said proposal and responsible for the functions and tasks

Organize development of optimal solutions & proposal execution concept based upon the information received from client.
Lead the proposal team members in order to execute the task with quality, cost, schedule and competitiveness. Proposal manager shall supervise complete proposal activities and fulfill the governance processes as defined in the proposal preparation procedure.
Review technical and commercial proposal documents prepared for the proposal.
Participation in technical & commercial clarifications, answer client's questions and comments, revision and updation of proposal documentation.
Work closely with Product Lines and Regional Sales teams to undertake and execute proposal activities for international prospects where E&C India is foreseen to execute the project in part or full.

Are you a MATCH?

Education: B. Tech in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
Work Experience: Min. 5 years in EPC/ Oil and Gas Industries
Proposal workflow knowledge
Proposal execution experience
Knows the basic of Estimation method , Principles of Engineering in all disciplines
Project Management knowledge to understand execution schemes
Expediting skills to receive proposal deliverables on time
Construction, erection, commissioning & start-up understanding
