Property Accountants – US Real Estate Accounting

Were looking for experienced Property Accountants to support our US Real Estate clients, managing accounting activities across multifamily, commercial, and residential portfolios.

Experience Required: 38 years

Location Chennai/Remote.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end General Ledger (GL) accounting for assigned properties.
• Handle Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) functions accurately and efficiently.
• Post and review journal entries and complete monthly and quarterly closings.
• Prepare and reconcile GL accounts, including accruals, prepayments, amortization, and depreciation.
• Prepare comprehensive financial reporting packages for properties or entities.
• Ensure all transactions comply with US GAAP and internal accounting policies.
• Manage multiple property ledgers, including intercompany transactions and consolidated reporting.
• Experience in Realpage is mandatory.

Tools & Systems (Hands-On Experience Required):

• Yardi Voyager , RealPage, AppFolio, Buildium, MRI Yardi Breeze Strong working experience required in any of these platforms

Ideal Candidate:

1. 38 years of relevant experience in US property accounting.
2. Strong analytical, reconciliation, and reporting skills.
3. Comfortable working with multiple property books and tight closing deadlines.
4. Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of working independently or in collaboration with onshore teams
