Key Responsibilities

1. Technical Expertise

Core Datacenter Technologies: Hands-on experience with servers, storage, virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Nutanix), and data protection tools (e.g., Commvault, Veeam, Dell DPS).

Cloud Integration: Basic understanding of hybrid and multi-cloud setups and integration with public cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Virtualization and HCI: Practical expertise in virtualization (VMware) and exposure to hyper-converged infrastructures (Nutanix).

Data Management: Experience in implementing and managing backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions.

Network Security: Knowledge of security frameworks using tools like Fortinet and Checkpoint.

Infrastructure Design: Ability to implement pre-defined architectures and contribute to design discussions.

2. Project Execution

Implementation: Ensure successful delivery of datacenter solutions, meeting project timelines and quality standards.

Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation for implementations, configurations, and customer-specific solutions.

Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify and address potential project risks and issues.

Process Adherence: Follow established methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) for project execution.

3. Customer Interaction

Technical Assessments: Support pre-sales teams in assessing customer infrastructure and needs.

Customer Support: Provide direct technical support to resolve issues during and after project deployment.

Satisfaction Assurance: Maintain a customer-centric approach to ensure high satisfaction levels through quality delivery and support.

4. Reporting and Metrics

Track and report project performance, including status updates, milestones achieved, and challenges encountered.

Collaborate with team leads to ensure alignment with broader practice goals.

5. Certification and Learning

Pursue and maintain certifications relevant to datacenter technologies (e.g., VMware Certified Professional, Nutanix Certified Professional, Fortinet NSE).

Stay updated on emerging trends in datacenter technologies and best practices.

Qualifications

Experience: 5-8 years in datacenter implementation, technical support, or similar roles.

Certifications: VMware Certified Professional, Nutanix Certified Professional, Fortinet NSE, or equivalent certifications.

Education: Bachelors degree in computer science, IT, or a related field.
