Project - Sales

The ideal candidate will liaise regularly with industrial clients, EPCs, Consultants, and Government utilities through a consultative sales approach. Key responsibilities include prequalification and specification management, early engagement, tender participation, RFQ/techno-commercial reviews/ coordination with internal Bids & Proposals team. The role requires knowledge of regulatory norms, procurement cycles, pipeline management, market intelligence, competitor analysis, and forecasting using CRM tools. With strong commercial acumen, the incumbent will position Ion Exchange India Ltd as a preferred partner and deliver assigned Order Intake targets across the designated area, segment, or geography.

1. Identify and Develop New Business Opportunities / Order Booking Target
2. Track upcoming projects, tenders, and client requirements in target sectors to generate leads and secure order bookings.
3. Manage and Drive Project Pursuit Game Plan

• Lead end-to-end process from lead generation, leveraging inputs from KAMs and Marketing as required, to client/consultant engagement, PQ and specification management, while identifying opportunities to strengthen competitive positioning
• Develop and execute Pursuit Plans with team involvement to improve win rate
• Formulate and implement strategic game plans, including Bid/No-Bid evaluations, to guide opportunity pursuit and strengthen Ion Exchange competitive positioning
• Collaborate with Bids & Proposals team on RFQs/tenders, facilitating alignment of client requirements and proposal planning
• Lead pricing discussions, review terms and conditions, and finalize contracts by coordinating with internal teams and clients to ensure commercial viability, profitability, and risk mitigation
• Drive closure activities, including contract negotiations and finalization of orders.
