Purpose of this position / Position summary
The Project Manager will oversee and manage projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. The role requires strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills to coordinate cross-functional teams and achieve project objectives. The Project Manager will act as a key liaison between stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business goals and delivering value to the organization
Primary duties and responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning and Initiation
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Identify potential risks and create mitigation strategies.
Project Execution
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams to execute project tasks.
- Monitor project progress, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate change management processes.
Stakeholder Communication
- Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status.
- Facilitate meetings, presentations, and discussions to ensure alignment and resolve issues.
- Document and communicate project decisions, risks, and outcomes.
Risk and Issue Management
- Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues proactively.
- Implement contingency plans to address potential disruptions.
- Escalate critical issues to leadership as needed.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting
- Track project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Prepare and present detailed project reports to stakeholders and senior management.
- Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.
Team Leadership
- Foster collaboration and teamwork among project team members.
- Provide guidance, motivation, and support to ensure team success.
- Manage resource allocation and resolve conflicts within the team.
Proactiveness
- Taking initiative to align and understand requirements with business and System owners/ developers.
- Proactively follow up with relevant teams to complete whole cycle till go live.

Education / Professional Certification
Preferred level of education (unskilled/vocational training/bachelor/university degree); preferred Institutes if any.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Information technology or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in project management, preferably in Multinational company setup.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is a plus.
Experience

Knowledge / Skills / Other characteristics
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches).

- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Microsoft planner, Jira,).
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
- Ability to deal with cross cultural teams. Interest in current IT trends and technology
