Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in Office interior projects to lead end-to-end delivery of interior fit-out, renovation, and refurbishment projects. The ideal candidate will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while maintaining excellent client relationships.
Key Responsibilities Project Planning & Initiation- Lead project kickoff meetings and define scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including schedules, resource allocations, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate with design teams to integrate architectural, structural, MEP, and FF&E requirements.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple commercial interior projects including office fit-outs, retail spaces, hospitality interiors, etc.
- Manage subcontractors, vendors, and consultants to ensure work aligns with specifications and timeline.
- Monitor project progress, quality, safety, and compliance with relevant building codes and standards.
- Conduct regular site visits and inspections.
- Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and progress billing.
- Monitor expenses, change orders, and ensure profitability.
- Review and negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Ensure accurate documentation of contracts, invoices, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and other project records.
- Act as primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders.
- Provide periodic status reports and updates to clients and senior leadership.
- Address client concerns promptly and professionally.
- Facilitate clear communication across teams (design, procurement, construction).
- Identify risks and develop mitigation plans.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and project specifications.
- Implement continuous improvement processes and lessons-learned reviews.
- Mentor and guide junior project staff.
- Assign tasks and monitor performance.
- Foster collaboration and strong team dynamics.
- Bachelors degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Interior Design, or related field.
- 58+ years of experience managing commercial interior projects (office, retail, hospitality, institutional, etc.).
- Proven expertise in project planning, scheduling, cost control, and contract management.
- Strong understanding of commercial interior design, finishes, materials, and MEP coordination.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Primavera, Procore, Buildertrend, etc.) and MS Office.
- PMP , PMI-ACP , Prince2 , or similar project management certification.
- Experience with construction software ( AutoCAD).
- Prior experience working with international or multinational clients.
- Knowledge of local building codes and safety regulations.
