Job Description

Company Overview

Virallens is a fast-growing, tech-enabled marketing partner that helps businesses grow, scale,

and differentiate in a crowded market. We design, build and launch digital products, campaigns

and services at speed. Our clients operate across industries and our ambitions span continents.

We build solutions, test quickly and scale what works. If you want a high-velocity environment

where your work ships and has impact, this is the place to grow.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Project Manager who operates effectively in high-speed environments and

takes full ownership of outcomes. You will manage multiple projects across web, mobile, and

growth initiatives, turning high-level inputs into clear delivery plans, aligning stakeholders, and

ensuring predictable execution. We value relentless resourcefulness, assertive and pragmatic

candor, and high agency paired with low ego. You remove blockers rather than simply reporting

them, protect team focus through clear prioritization, and lead as a servant leader who takes

responsibility for results and gives credit to the team. Prior experience writing production code is a significant advantage because it accelerates planning and improves technical decision-

making.

Key Responsibilities

End-to-End Delivery

Manage multiple projects from initial scope and planning through build, launch, and post-

launch, with clear acceptance criteria.

Define and de-scope to a minimum viable product that delivers rapid, material value;

apply strategic planning to anticipate issues before they arise.

Maintain a robust delivery toolset (for example, Jira or Linear, Notion or Confluence, live

dashboards, and RAID logs) with high-quality asynchronous documentation that enables

execution without unnecessary meetings.

Stakeholder Management and Communication

Run lean delivery cadences such as kickoffs, standups, demos, and retrospectives;

default to concise, asynchronous updates where appropriate.

Keep teams and clients aligned through clear weekly status reports covering progress,

risks, decisions, and next steps.

Negotiate trade-offs, escalate thoughtfully, and protect timelines and team focus without

surprises.

Delivery Excellence: Quality, Speed, and Risk

Track and improve on-time delivery, cycle time, deployment frequency, blocker age,

scope change, and quality gates.

Coordinate QA and UAT, own go-live checklists, and drive retrospectives that result in

measurable process improvements.

Propose pragmatic mitigations and contingency plans; identify likely technical roadblocks

during design rather than after build begins.

Technical Partnership and Developer Productivity

Collaborate on API contracts, cutover plans, and release strategies; operate fluently with

APIs, Git, CI/CD, and cloud environments.

Champion automation, trunk-based development, shift-left testing, and reusable

application templates to reduce setup time and increase shipping speed.

Connect delivery priorities to business outcomes such as revenue impact, acquisition,

and operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications

A minimum of 4 years in project or delivery management, preferably in high-growth or

startup environments.

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and create clarity amid

ambiguity.

Relentless resourcefulness and decisive leadership that proactively unblocks work and

protects team focus.

Exceptional asynchronous communication; specifications, user stories, and notes that

enable execution without clarification meetings.

Excellent written and verbal communication with strong stakeholder management across

engineering, design, product, and go-to-market teams.

Business and financial acumen; the ability to connect tasks to outcomes and weigh cost

of delay against feature value.

Hands-on proficiency with Jira or Linear, Notion or Confluence, Google Workspace, and

Slack; solid understanding of Agile practices (Scrum or Kanban).

Technical literacy across web and mobile fundamentals, APIs, Git and GitHub

workflows, CI/CD, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Vercel, or Heroku.

Preferred Qualifications

Former software developer experience (strongly preferred). Systems thinking, early

identification of architectural risks, and credibility with engineers.

Process architect mindset. Ability to design lightweight systems that remove waste, use

asynchronous rituals appropriately, and elevate execution quality.

Focus on developer velocity. Obsession with cycle time, deployment frequency, and

blocker age, with a track record of partnering with engineering to improve these metrics.

Strategic technical fluency across AI and martech. Familiarity with OpenAI, LangChain,

vector databases, GA4, GTM, and SEO to align technical delivery with growth

objectives.

Relevant certifications such as PMP, CSM, or PRINCE2, or delivery experience across

SaaS, cloud, or AI products.

Benefits and Culture

Build meaningful products that reach users quickly.

High trust and high ownership with autonomy to lead and ship.

Lean, fast-moving environment with minimal overhead.

Growth in scope, leadership, and impact as the company scales.

A collaborative culture that values both performance and professionalism
