As a Project Management Vice President in our Finance team, you will spend each day defining, refining, and delivering set goals for our firm.
You will be responsible for managing and executing global projects across BAU and new business initiatives. Your role requires a broad understanding of the trade workflow for FX, Repos, Money Markets, Fixed Income, and Interest Rate Swaps products, as well as Middle Office processes. You will apply project management discipline and a solution-oriented approach to business problems.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage global project demand and prioritization for Middle Office.
- Evaluate business objectives and analyze high-level business requirements for new systems or enhancements to existing systems.
- Partner closely with technology service providers and business users to set system strategy and project direction, identify cost/benefit impacts, and agree on project timelines and priorities.
- Organize governance forums to manage stakeholder expectations. Facilitate program success through proper resource allocation and ensure appropriate coverage from all stakeholders.
- Ensure cross-impacts are identified with sufficient advance notice.
- Track issues, mitigate risks, and resolve conflicts between programs and projects.
- Ensure timely management of all stakeholder communications.
- Manage business communications and provide monthly updates to senior stakeholders.
- Produce bi-monthly business review management reports.
- Serve as the point of contact for NBIAs related to MO workflow. Partner with regional Operations (MO and BO) on operational project initiatives.
- Participate in and represent the MO in firm-wide forums for regulatory change.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 10+ years experience in Fixed Income, Repos, FX and/or Money Markets products collaborating with traders and operations in managing business requirements and coordinating technology solutions with at least a few years of PMO experience managing multiple projects
- Ability to communicate effectively at multiple levels of the organization including senior management
- Stakeholder expectation management and negotiation skills
- Strong analytical, prioritization, multi-tasking and negotiation skills
- Excellent and proven communication skills, both written and verbal in English
