Project Manager

About the Role:

The Project Manager - Store Fit-Outs will be responsible for planning, managing, and delivering new Tyaani Jewellery store locations from start to finish. This includes overseeing construction, interior fit-outs, vendor coordination, budgeting, timelines, and ensuring a seamless handover to operations. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, extensive experience in retail project management, and the ability to drive multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the end-to-end execution of new store launches, including construction, interior fit-outs, MEP works, branding, and final handover.

Ensure all store projects are completed within budget, timelines, and the quality parameters defined by the organization.

Collaborate closely with internal teams such as operations, VM, marketing, design, and finance to ensure alignment throughout the project lifecycle.

Coordinate with external stakeholders including landlords, architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure timely project delivery.

Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets, and provide regular progress updates to leadership.

Ensure all stores comply with local regulations, safety guidelines, and statutory requirements.

Identify project risks, propose corrective actions, and implement mitigation strategies.

Oversee sourcing, negotiation, and onboarding of contractors, material suppliers, and service providers when required.

Conduct site audits, quality checks, and ensure that brand-standard specifications are followed.

Provide on-ground support during store openings and ensure smooth handover to the operations team.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

6-10 years of overall experience, including:

Minimum of 5 years in project management.

At least 3 years of experience in retail store development or interior fit-outs.

Strong leadership, execution, and team collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Proven ability to manage multiple store projects and stakeholders simultaneously.

Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and decision-making skills.

Experience working in India with knowledge of local laws, building codes, regulations, and compliance requirements (preferred).

Demonstrated ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities.

Excellent communication, vendor management, and organizational skills.
