Project Manager- Retail Operations

The Project Manager Retail Operations will be responsible for end-to-end planning and execution of retail projects, ensuring timely delivery, cost control, and high-quality outcomes. The role requires close coordination with clients, vendors, trade partners, and internal stakeholders, with a strong focus on operational efficiency and execution excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day retail project operations from brief to closure
• Act as the primary operational point of contact for regional clients and local trade partners
• Plan, coordinate, and monitor project timelines, quality standards, and on-ground execution
• Liaise with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and adherence to specifications
• Coordinate artwork collation, submission, and client approvals
• Manage post-installation issues, including warranty-related resolutions
• Validate project costs, consumption, and execution deliverables before business sign-off
• Track and share accurate MIS and project status updates in prescribed formats
• Review and validate Proof of Execution (POE) post deployment
• Proactively identify operational risks and implement safeguards during execution
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with the existing vendor base
• Identify, onboard, and develop new vendors as per evolving project requirements

Qualifications

• Graduate (mandatory); MBA preferred

Experience

• 45 years of relevant experience in retail operations, production, or project execution
• Prior experience managing multi-vendor, multi-location retail projects

• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint (MIS, trackers, and presentations)
