Project Manager

Pina Engineering is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Project Manager to lead the end-to-end execution of process machinery projects for the food, pharmaceutical, and biotech industries. This role is critical in ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and in strict compliance with regulatory and technical standards.

The ideal candidate will combine strong engineering fundamentals with practical project management expertise in industrial equipment manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the complete project lifecycle from order confirmation through design coordination, manufacturing, FAT/SAT, installation, and final commissioning.
• Develop detailed project schedules, resource allocation plans, and execution strategies.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including design, production, procurement, quality, automation, and site execution.
• Monitor project timelines, cost control, cash flow, and risk mitigation plans.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, ASME, and relevant safety and industry standards.
• Conduct client meetings, progress reviews, and technical discussions to ensure alignment and transparency.
• Manage project documentation, including technical submissions, quality records, FAT/SAT protocols, and final handover dossiers.
• Identify and resolve technical, operational, and coordination challenges during project execution.
• Demonstrate strong understanding of P&ID, GA drawings, fabrication drawings, and process flow documentation (mandatory).

Your Profile / Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• 24 years of experience in project management within manufacturing or process equipment industry, preferably in food, pharma, or biotech sectors.
• Strong knowledge of stainless steel fabrication, hygienic process systems, and industrial machinery.
• Experience managing multi-disciplinary engineering projects involving mechanical, electrical, and automation interfaces.
• Excellent planning, negotiation, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in MS Project, ERP systems, and project tracking tools preferred.
