Project Manager Role Objective

The Project Manager shall be responsible for end-to-end project management and delivery of Pertsols solutions across telecom and non-telecom domains for Government, PSU, and enterprise customers. The role ensures timely execution, quality compliance, and adherence to contractual, security, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the complete project lifecycle for Pertsols solutions, including solution rollout, modernization and upgrades, and deployments on cloud-based and bare-metal infrastructure, in line with contract and scope of work (SoW).
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders including R&D, Operations, and Pre-Sales, and with external entities such as customers, OEMs, system integrators, and third-party vendors.
• Prepare and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, risk registers, dependency matrices, and mitigation plans.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with SLAs, KPIs, contractual deliverables, and acceptance criteria as defined in the contract/RFP.
• Conduct project governance meetings, progress reviews, customer coordination meetings, and periodic status reporting to senior management and customer representatives.
• Ensure adherence to operator standards, information security policies, statutory, regulatory, and compliance requirements applicable to Government/PSU projects.
• Manage change requests, scope variations, and impact analysis in accordance with defined change management processes.
• Ensure proper documentation, knowledge transfer, and smooth handover to operations and support teams post project completion.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong understanding of Indian and global telecom ecosystems, including Government/PSU operating environments and processes.
• Experience working with major telecom vendors and OEMs such as Nokia, Ericsson, Huawei, Mavenir, ZTE, Cisco, etc.
• Proven experience in delivery of RAN, Core Network, OSS/BSS, or large-scale telecom IT projects.
• Hands-on experience in multi-vendor, multi-partner project environments.
• PMP / PRINCE2 or equivalent project management certification preferred.
• Strong capabilities in stakeholder coordination, documentation, reporting, and governance management.

Tools & Technologies (Common Govt/Telecom Projects)

• Operating Systems: Linux (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu)
• Cloud & Virtualization: OpenStack, VMware, AWS / Azure / GCP
• Telecom Domains: RAN, Core Network, OSS/BSS, Location-Based Services (LBS), Lawful Interception (LI)
• Databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle (basic to advanced depending on role)
• Scripting & Automation: Shell scripting, basic automation tools
• Project & ITSM Tools: MS Project, JIRA, Confluence, ServiceNow (or equivalent)
• Monitoring & Ops: NMS/EMS tools, log analysis, performance monitoring systems
• Documentation: SOPs, HLD/LLD, test reports, acceptance documents, compliance reports
