ROLE OVERVIEW:
This is an important execution role within a founder-led hospitality group that is building multiple food brands across QSR, B2B catering, and international dining formats.
As the portfolio scales, project execution quality and asset upkeep have become strategic levers rather than just support functions. We are looking for a hands-on leader to own all capital projects and maintenance outcomes across the portfolio.
This role sits at the intersection of new outlet delivery, brand adherence, and long-term asset health.
While you will have group-wide authority, your primary focus will be on executing the national expansion roadmap for the group's flagship Modern South Indian QSR brand.
ROLE DETAILS:
- Role: Manager Projects & Maintenance
- Experience Required: 7+ years
- Clients Industry: Hospitality Group (QSR, B2B Catering, International Dining)| 15 to 20 Crore Revenue Range
- Location: Bengaluru
- Travel Requirements: Requires Travelling (1520 days/month across multiple cities)

ABOUT THE CLIENTS COMPANY:
Our client is a dynamic, founder-led group operating across the hospitality sector. They are currently scaling multiple verticals:
- Primary QSR Brand: A modern South Indian fast-casual brand currently undergoing a national expansion through franchise and partner-led models.
- International Dining: Premium casual dining formats are being launched outside India.
- B2B Catering: A large-scale corporate catering operation.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. PROJECT EXECUTION & EXPANSION STRATEGY
- Own the end-to-end execution of all hospitality projects (new builds, refits, and relocations), ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
- Lead the national expansion execution for the flagship QSR brand, including franchise, JV, and company-owned outlets.
- Coordinate with architects and internal brand teams to review layouts and BOQs, ensuring designs are adapted to site realities without diluting the brand intent.
- Act as the guardian of "Handover Readiness," ensuring outlets are truly launch-ready with zero snags and avoiding rushed openings.
2. REPAIRS & MAINTENANCE (R&M) LEADERSHIP
- Take full ownership of preventive and corrective maintenance across all live outlets to ensure long-term asset health.
- Structure the R&M function with clear SLAs and prioritization to reduce downtime.
- Drive cost-effective maintenance strategies that protect the bottom line without compromising the guest experience.
3. VENDOR ECOSYSTEM & TECHNICAL OVERSIGHT
- Build and manage a reliable pan-India vendor ecosystem, finalizing partners based on quality, delivery discipline, and commercial fairness.
- Provide strong working-level oversight of civil, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and kitchen services.
- Manage franchisee and partner expectations firmly while maintaining a zero-tolerance stance on brand and quality compromises.
4. COMMERCIAL & ASSET DISCIPLINE
- Own project budgets and maintenance spend across the portfolio, tracking variations and overruns transparently.
- Balance short-term capex savings with long-term asset durability to ensure sustainable growth.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
a) Must-Haves:
- Experience: 7+ years in hospitality, QSR, retail, or commercial project execution.
- Track Record: Proven experience delivering multiple restaurant projects end-to-end (both new builds and live outlet maintenance).
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of civil, electrical, plumbing, and restaurant services.
- Mindset: High ownership with an execution-first mindset; comfortable operating in a fast-scaling, founder-led environment.
b) Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience working directly with franchisees or external partners.
- Good design sensibility and attention to finish quality.
- Ability to manage multiple sites in parallel with minimal supervision.
c) Tools & Skills Required:
- Design Software: Working proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.
- Project Management: Proficiency in tracking tools (Excel/Project) to manage BOQs, timelines, and budgets.
REPORTING STRUCTURE:
This role will report directly to the Founder / EVP Operations & Growth.
