Role Overview

We are seeking an experiencedProject Managerto leadcapital projects within steel plant operations, includingbrownfield expansions, debottlenecking projects, and new production lines.

The role will ensure projects are deliveredon time, within budget, and aligned with HSE and quality standards, while coordinatingengineering, construction, contractors, and operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

Leadend-to-end execution of steel plant CAPEX projectsfrom planning to commissioning

Coordinatemulti-disciplinary teams including engineering, construction, quality, procurement and operations

Developproject schedules, budgets and execution plans

Monitorproject risks, costs, progress and change management

Conductdesign reviews, constructability assessments and site problem resolution

Managecontractors and vendor performance across project phases

Ensurecompliance with safety regulations, company standards and project governance

Provideregular project updates to senior leadership and stakeholders

Ensuresmooth project handover with performance guarantees and operational readiness

Drivecontinuous improvement and capture lessons learned

Mandatory Skills (Must Have)

812 years of experience managing capital projects in heavy industry / steel plants

Strong Project Leadership managing multi-discipline teams and contractors

Hands-on experience delivering industrial CAPEX projects (brownfield expansions or new production lines)

Working knowledge of steel manufacturing processessuch assteelmaking, rolling mills or plant utilities

Strong problem-solving ability in site execution environments

Expertise in project planning, riskmanagementand cost control

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

B.E/B.Techin Mechanical, Metallurgical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering

PMP or PRINCE2 Project Management certification

Experience executingfast-track brownfield projects in operating plants

Project cost variance within approved budget
