Job Title: Project Manager Airline Domain

About the Role:
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Project Manager with strong Airline domain experience to lead and deliver strategic projects for our clients in the aviation sector. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of airline operations, systems, and processes, with a proven track record in project management, client engagement, and cross-functional leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end delivery of airline domain projects, ensuring scope, timeline, cost, and quality objectives are met
- Engage closely with airline clients to understand business needs, define project scope, and translate them into actionable plans
- Manage project schedules, risks, issues, and dependencies using agile/waterfall or hybrid methodologies
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including development, QA, business analysts, and third-party vendors
- Monitor and report project progress through regular status updates, dashboards, and stakeholder meetings
- Ensure adherence to compliance, security, and quality standards in all project phases
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying and implementing best practices
- Support pre-sales activities such as RFP responses, estimations, and client presentations (as required)
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field; PMP/Prince2 certification is a plus
- 8+ years of total experience, with at least 3-5 years managing projects in the airline or aviation industry
- Strong knowledge of airline systems such as PSS (Passenger Service Systems), DCS (Departure Control Systems), revenue management, loyalty systems, or MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul)
- Hands-on experience in managing enterprise applications, digital transformation, or system integration projects in airline context
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills
- Familiarity with tools like MS Project, JIRA, Confluence, or similar
- Ability to work in a global delivery model and manage geographically distributed teams
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience working with Tier-1 airline clients or global aviation service providers
- Agile/Scrum certification (CSM, SAFe, etc.)
- Exposure to IATA standards and airline regulatory frameworks
