Job Description


Role: Engineering Project Manager


Qualifications: MCA/Bachelors or Master's degree in Computer Science/Electronics and Communication.


Experience: 5-10 years of industry experience. 3+ years' experience in Project Management in a product development organization.


Skills Required:


Must Have


  • Knowledge & experience of managing complex technical projects interfacing with Software/ Mechanical engineering, Manufacturing, Clinical, Regulatory and Quality and testing teams.
  • Expertise in providing cross-organizational management of software
  • development programs from initiation through delivery
  • Expertise in entire software development life-cycle.
  • Experience working with Waterfall / Agile development technologies.
  • Experience in various tools like GitHub, Microsoft Project, JIRA etc.
  • Experience of working with global partners in different time zones.
  • Experience of managing vendors.
  • Excellent Critical thinking, Analytical, problem solving & Solutioning skills with a customer first mindset.


Good to have


  • PMP certification
  • CSM certification Knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts (such as definition of done, user stories, automated testing, backlog refinement etc.)
  • Experience in GUI applications built in C++, Qt on Windows OS.
  • Experience in Medical devices SW. Healthcare protocols and standards (i.e. DICOM, Hl7, FHIR) will be of added value.


Tasks & Activities:


  • Develop a deep knowledge of HRS products, their clinical usage, and strategic vision/roadmaps.
  • Leverage agile frameworks to plan, prioritize, control and execute projects from research till post market activities.
  • Evaluate upcoming project initiatives and engage with the appropriate teams to facilitate success and remove roadblocks.
  • Create, manage, and report on the financial progress of the projects.
  • Reviewing and negotiating internal and external partners requirements and recommending best practices.
  • Identifying, documenting, negotiating, and managing scope changes.
  • Collaborate with other groups to continuously improve product deployment and implementation processes and strategies.
  • Facilitate meetings and reviews with a high degree of professionalism, work ethic and integrity.
  • Change oriented actively generates process improvements, champions and drives change initiatives, confronts difficult circumstances in creative ways, balances multiple and competing priorities and executes accordingly
  • Plan and execute specific activities include performing program analysis, managing risk, influencing necessary course corrections, creative problem solving, and communicating program status and activities across multiple levels of management.
  • This role additionally involves continuously assessing and improving the processes that comprise the software development lifecycle and mentoring/coaching other members including Product Development Teams.
