Job Description
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager HRMS Implementations to lead end-to-end delivery of Human Resource Management System (HRMS/HCM) projects. The role will be responsible for planning, execution, stakeholder management, risk mitigation, and successful deployment of HR technology solutions aligned with business and HR objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Project Delivery & Governance
- Lead end-to-end HRMS implementation projects from initiation to go-live and post-implementation support
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and success criteria
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation
- Ensure adherence to project governance, PMO standards, and implementation methodologies (Agile/Waterfall/Hybrid)
Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for HR, IT, business leaders, vendors, and implementation partners
- Facilitate requirements gathering, design workshops, and steering committee meetings
- Provide regular status updates, risk assessments, and escalation management
HRMS Implementation Oversight
- Manage implementation of HRMS modules such as Core HR, Payroll, Time & Attendance, Talent, Learning, Compensation and Benefits
- Coordinate configuration, integrations, data migration, testing (SIT/UAT), and cutover activities
- Ensure alignment between HR processes and system design
Risk, Change & Quality Management
- Identify and mitigate project risks and dependencies
- Manage scope changes through formal change control
- Support change management, training, and user adoption initiatives
- Ensure solution quality, compliance, and data accuracy
Required Skills & Qualifications
Mandatory
- Bachelors degree in Business, HR, IT, or related field
- Proven experience managing HRMS/HCM implementation projects
- Strong understanding of HR processes (Hire-to-Retire lifecycle)
- Solid project management skills including planning, execution, and risk management
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills
Technical / Functional
- Experience with HRMS platforms such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, or similar
- Knowledge of integrations, data migration, and reporting
- Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid project delivery models
- Proficiency with project management tools (MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification a strong plus
- PRINCE2, Agile, or other project management certifications
- HRMS vendor certifications (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors)
- Experience with multi-country or large-scale HR transformations
- Exposure to change management frameworks (Prosci / ADKAR)
