Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager HRMS Implementations to lead end-to-end delivery of Human Resource Management System (HRMS/HCM) projects. The role will be responsible for planning, execution, stakeholder management, risk mitigation, and successful deployment of HR technology solutions aligned with business and HR objectives.


Key Responsibilities

Project Delivery & Governance

  • Lead end-to-end HRMS implementation projects from initiation to go-live and post-implementation support
  • Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and success criteria
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation
  • Ensure adherence to project governance, PMO standards, and implementation methodologies (Agile/Waterfall/Hybrid)


Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the primary point of contact for HR, IT, business leaders, vendors, and implementation partners
  • Facilitate requirements gathering, design workshops, and steering committee meetings
  • Provide regular status updates, risk assessments, and escalation management


HRMS Implementation Oversight

  • Manage implementation of HRMS modules such as Core HR, Payroll, Time & Attendance, Talent, Learning, Compensation and Benefits
  • Coordinate configuration, integrations, data migration, testing (SIT/UAT), and cutover activities
  • Ensure alignment between HR processes and system design


Risk, Change & Quality Management

  • Identify and mitigate project risks and dependencies
  • Manage scope changes through formal change control
  • Support change management, training, and user adoption initiatives
  • Ensure solution quality, compliance, and data accuracy


Required Skills & Qualifications

Mandatory

  • Bachelors degree in Business, HR, IT, or related field
  • Proven experience managing HRMS/HCM implementation projects
  • Strong understanding of HR processes (Hire-to-Retire lifecycle)
  • Solid project management skills including planning, execution, and risk management
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills


Technical / Functional

  • Experience with HRMS platforms such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, or similar
  • Knowledge of integrations, data migration, and reporting
  • Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid project delivery models
  • Proficiency with project management tools (MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet, etc.)


Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification a strong plus
  • PRINCE2, Agile, or other project management certifications
  • HRMS vendor certifications (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors)
  • Experience with multi-country or large-scale HR transformations
  • Exposure to change management frameworks (Prosci / ADKAR)
