Role Description

The company is seeking a project manager to join our project team. This role offers the chance to work in a collaborative and curious open environment where you are given the opportunity to innovate and grow.

The project manager shall be responsible to independently manage and successfully implement specialised lighting (faade, streetlighting, sports lighting, etc.) and associated electrical projects.

The tasks range from planning all on-site project activities, interaction and all projects related communicationwith the client (MIS, maintaining measurements book, RA billing, etc.), consultants and other stake holders and coordination with various off-site agencies, suppliers, supply chain department and all other agencies to achieve project goals. Close coordination and reporting with back end team at the head office is an integral part of this job. He shall maintain complete records of inventories, expenditure verses assigned budget, project progress, etc. and ensure that there are no time and cost overrun.

He shall work cross-functionally with the larger Team of execution agencies/sub-contractors/implementation partners, to lead the teams to solve problems, enhance services, and deliver a top-notch customer experience through efficient and time bound project execution.

Complete knowledge of contractual provisions, excellent technical knowledge, acquaintance with the applicable standards/norms, statutory requirements, safety protocols, testing and quality standards, etc. is essential to this job.

Skills & Qualifications Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Willing to travel and stay for long durations anywhere in India as per the requirement of project.
• Minimum of 3-years (for engineering graduates) and 5 years (for diploma holder) of experience in successfully and independently managing specialised lighting and electrical projects.
• Computer knowledge - MS Office toolset (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), AutoCAD and other essential project tools.
• Knowledge of lighting and other automation/controls (such as DMX, DALI, etc.) and associated software, basic programming and operation competency.
• Experience with project management practices and tools to create, manage, and track project performance across milestones
• Ability to lead large and diverse teams exercising strong leadership and soft skills
• Outstanding analytical and complex problem-solving skills
• Experience in dealing with client, communication and coordination
• Ability to work under pressure; exceptional time management skills
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
• Outstanding organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
