Job Description

Location: Ahmedabad & Goraj

Department: Projects / Construction

Reports To: GM Projects

Job Summary

The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering horizontal development projects such as plotted developments, internal roads, infrastructure services, landscaping, Clubhouse, Villa, Sample villas, High end finishing work and external utilities within the defined timeline, budget, safety and quality standards. The role involves coordination with consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth execution of the project.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Execution

  • Manage end-to-end execution of horizontal development projects including site grading, road works, Villa, Clubhouse, Amenities Water bodies, Sample villas with interior, electrical, and landscape development.
  • Prepare project schedules, construction programs, and resource planning.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure completion within approved timelines.

Infrastructure Development

  • Oversee development of internal roads, storm water drainage, water supply networks, sewerage systems, street lighting, and utility infrastructure.
  • Ensure compliance with approved layouts and infrastructure standards.

Contractor & Vendor Management

  • Appoint and coordinate with contractors, consultants, and vendors.
  • Monitor contractor performance, work quality, and adherence to safety standards.
  • Review contractor bills, BOQs, and project cost estimates.

Coordination with Consultants

  • Work closely with architects, structural consultants, infrastructure consultants, PMC and landscape consultants.
  • Review drawings and ensure implementation as per design and specifications.

Quality Control

  • Ensure construction quality as per company standards and approved specifications.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks.

Budget & Cost Control

  • Monitor project budgets and control costs.
  • Review BOQs, contractor quotations, and variation orders.

Regulatory Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with local development authority approvals and statutory norms.
  • Coordinate with government/company Liasoning authorities for approvals and inspections if required.

Reporting

  • Prepare and submit weekly and monthly progress reports.
  • Update management on project timelines, issues, and risk mitigation.

Qulaification:

  • Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Project Management certification will be an advantage.


Experience:

  • 10+ Years of experience in real estate or infrastructure development.
  • Minimum 5 Years of experience in Horizontal development projects such as plotted developments, townships, or large land development projects.

Preferred:

  • Experience in township development, plotted developments, resorts, or club projects.
  • Familiarity with RERA regulations and development authority norms.


Required Skills:

  • Strong leadership and team management skills
